Virginia Kalp paints wonderfully detailed murals of Island tropical foliage and landscape scenes from her life on St. Simons Island, and her trips to Europe.

Born in New Jersey, Virginia had the gift of art from an early age. Through pursuing a business career she learned the value of customer relations and satisfaction.

Creating custom art as a side business was rewarding, but in 1994 she moved to St. Simons Island, Georgia and fell in love with the beautiful ocean and marsh views. She turned her focus to painting full time.

Preferring to "PAINT LARGE" she discovered the ability to create whole theme rooms and homes where you feel you are in another place and time. "Idealized Reality" is the best way to describe her style.

Virginia has been professionally trained in the use of Aqua Finishing Solutions; environmentally friendly paint products. She has spent over 20 years developing her own decorative art style.
